銆銆The Central Hospital of Jiading District is the medical, healing and prevention centre of Jiading District, and is the education base of Shanghai 2nd Medical University. The hospital was established in 1948.聽 It is the former Puji Hospital founded by Dr. Ge Chenghui, who was from Jiading and obtained medical education and doctor鈥檚 degree in USA. In 1992, the hospital was accredited by Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Health to be one of the first batch of hospitals in the second class, division 1. In 1994, the hospital was granted the title of 鈥淣ational Level Baby-friendly Hospital鈥 by the top-level examination board of China Baby-friendly Hospital.
