Shanghai University State University Science and Technology Park Jiading Industrialization Base, is another platform for the R&D, transformation and industrialization development of high and new technologies in succession to Shanghai Nanotechnology Industrialization Base and Multimedia Industrialization Base sponsored by Shanghai University. Carrying out the brand new operation mode of “three combinations”---government, institutions of higher learning and private enterprises (including foreign capital) to take advantage of each other’s complementary strengths, and pushing further ahead the operation mode with high starting-point planning, modern construction, ecological environment, humane atmosphere and marketization mechanism, the park has been endeavoring to become a successful model of the development and construction of advanced manufacturing industry in state high and new technology industrial development zones.
1. Nominated by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education as Shanghai University State University Technology Park Jiading High and New Technology Advanced Manufacturing Production Base.

Relying on the research achievements of high and new technological products of the national key “Project 211”Shanghai University, make strenuous efforts to the carry out the city rejuvenating strategy through the development of science and technology, strive to become a “small titan”with great potential and devote to the creation of a sound environment for the converting of technological achievements.
3. A platform for high and new technological achievements with independent intellectual property right and core technological productivity and industrial investment as well.
4. Industrial sales and revenue should be with high added value to make contribution to national economy and the objective of production value of the industrialization base should be up to 1.5 billion yuan RMB.
Shanghai University Technology Park, as one of the new and high technology industrial parks in Shanghai’s“one zone and six parks”, relying on its education and technological advantages of Shanghai University, has its main missions of incubating high and new technology enterprises, converting technological achievements and cultivating innovative personnel; has its strategic goals of “upgrading conventional industries, developing high and new technological industries, push industrialization ahead with informatization and forge advanced manufacturing industry base”and the core function of an“incubator for hi-tech enterprises”. Depending on the technological advantages of the university co-construction and its synthetic resource strengths including human resource, disciplines, experimental apparatus and system innovation, the park has been endeavoring to push on the technological innovation and industrialization, giving priority to the development of electronic information, optical, mechanical and electronic integration, energy and environmental engineering, biopharmaceutical industry, nanotechnology and new materials.
