Shanghai Zhongke Hi-Tech Industrial Park, is a key part of the “one zone and six parks” of Shanghai high and new technological industrial development zone, which was founded by Chinese Academy of Science under the approval of State Council, and a state exportation base for high and new technology products as well as the science and technology industrial park of Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC Parks) open to international market which, was approved and designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

　　Shanghai Zhongke Hi-Tech Industrial Park is a base for the implementation of high technology industrialization program of Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). Relying on the comprehensive advantages of CAS in terms of its multiple disciplines, numerous research institutions in Shanghai and the experimental base of CAS; depending on the solid financial strength of the industrial zone, it concentrate mainly on the development of high and new technology industries such as optical communication, new material and optical, mechanical as well as electronic integration, in addition to that, the introduction of projects of high and new technological achievements. Currently having registered enterprises include Shanghai Simgui Technology, RAE System, Global Optron, Shibaura Electronics and DDK Ltd. etc., domestically No.1 and world leading enterprises, and meanwhile, include these domestically leading high and new technology enterprises like Shi Long Hi-Tech, Zhongke Medical Equipment and so on.
